Our New Book: 10,080 Minutes

10,080 Minutes

These last two years of transition, our move from Big Red Kitchen, the place, to Manderley Cottage have somewhat silenced me.  I journeyed these last two years in a state of wonder. Did we actually pull off the biggest lifestyle makeover?  To, now what?  It wasn’t until back in April when a publishing company, who I had looked at a year ago, contacted me to ask if I had a book to publish. That little prompt made me realize I was finally ready to tell our story.  So for the last six months I wrote, and rewrote our story with Himself by my side editing, sharing his thoughts, and brainstorming how to fit as much valuable information into this book as possible.

Once I sent the book off to the publishers, I felt a warm rush of peace. My time in transition had ended and I felt closure. I can move on now. We are safe, we are strong, and we are living what matters.  Our children have adjusted beautifully to our lifestyle change, finding friends, jobs, sports, and enjoying our new home.  Himself and I are making new goals and pondering how we can help others live what matters to them.

Our book “10,080 Minutes” is the story of our family’s quest for living what matters. In 2014 we underwent a dramatic lifestyle makeover and created a lifestyle that defines what we can control and supports that which we cannot. Our journey took us through giant obstacles, great risks, and really hard days. The book outlines the who, what, when, where, why, and how we did what we did. The book is short and sweet- 36 pages, and can be read straight through so that your cup of coffee will still be warm by the time you are finished!

Hi Robin – Just read the book and I really enjoyed it and thought it was very well done. You guys have actually decided to “smell the roses” and it should be an inspiration to so many who live in the rat race. Looks forward to hearing more as time goes on – congrats to your son for the Eagle Scout.

Congratulations on the book, and to you and your family for continuing on the journey you all set out to pursue.

Your book is filled with one gem after another.

It is also a pleasure to see you back on this site.

You have been missed here. 🙂

Thanks so much for letting us download it for free right now.

As soon as I got it, I read it right away.

The timing of this is not lost on me, as I’m in the process of going through everything to lighten my load.

I’ve done this before, and it felt fantastic to get rid of unwanted, unneeded items.

This is an inspirational read, and I will keep it handy for those days when I find myself stuck.

If this will be for sale on places like Amazon, etc., I would be happy to write a glowing review about it.

    Best wishes to everyone here.
