A budget friendly meal that does not skimp on flavor.
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1½- 2 tsp garlic salt, to taste
  • 4 tsp ground cumin
  • Juice of one lime
  1. In a large skillet, over medium heat, crumble and brown ground beef.
  2. Drain if necessary.
  3. Place back on heat and add seasonings starting with 1½ tsp garlic salt and adjusting if needed. Stir until seasonings are distributed.
  4. Just before serving, squeeze the juice of one lime over entire pan of meat.
Serve with:
Rice, pico de gallo, salsa, guacamole, sour cream, shredded cheese, cilantro, chopped mango, sautéed peppers and onions, and jalapeños.
